There are three types of covers namely:
i) Third Party Only (TPO) Cover –This covers liability to third parties and passanger liability that may arise out of the use of the vehicles.
ii) Third Party Fire (TPF&T) Cover – This provides indemnity against loss or damage to motor vehicle as a result of fire or theft and liability to third parties and passenger liability that may arise out of the use of the vehicle.
iii) Comprehensive Cover – This provides indemnity against loss or damage to motor vehicle, liability to third parties and passenger liability that may arise out of the use of the vehicle.
The insurance is provided for private motor vehicles, commercial motor vehicles, and other special types including tractors, trailers, combine harvesters and fork lifts.

This insurance policy covers loss or damage to property caused by fire, lightning, explosion, earthquake, bush fire, riot and strike, floods and related perils. The risk may involve commercial buildings, industries, private dwelling premises, goods in trade, domestic or business property

Cover against bodily injury caused by violent accidental external and visible means which injury shall solely and independently of any other cause result in the insured person’s death or disablement.
Benefits include; death compensation, permanent total disability compensation, loss of weekly income due to temporary total disability and medical expenses incurred as a result of the same accident.

Marine insurance covers the loss or damage of ships, cargo, terminals, and any
transport or cargo by which property is transferred, acquired, or held between the points of origin and final destination. Transportation of goods by sea, road, rail, air and pipelines is associated with numerous risks from accidents, piracy, fire, weather and other unforeseen events. Either single voyage policies or annual policies are offered.
TYPES OF COVERS-:
Institute Cargo Clause (A): Unnamed perils clause
Covers all risks of loss or damage to insured cargo except those under the policy
e.g. willful misconduct of the insured, ordinary leakage, unseaworthiness.
Institute Cargo Clause (B): Named Peril basis.
Loss or damage to insured cargo attributable to:
• Fire or Explosion.
• Vessel or craft being stranded, grounded, sunk or capsized.
• Overturning or derailment of land conveyance.
• Collision or contact of vessel, craft or conveyance with any external object
other than water
• Discharge of cargo at a port of distress
• Earthquake, volcanic eruption or lightning
• General average sacrifice
• Jettison
• Washing Overboard
• Entry of sea, lake or river water into the vessel, craft, hold, conveyance,
container, lift van or place of storage
• Total loss of any package lost overboard or dropped whilst loading onto,
or unloading from, vessel or craft
Institute Cargo Clause (C): Named Peril basis.

• Fire or explosion

This is a product where WE undertake action as the guarantor to the insured to pay a defined amount of money should the person/party guaranteed fail to pay or meet the terms and conditions of a contract with the third party.

This cover protects employers should their employees sustain bodily injuries, disease or death arising out of and in the course of employees’ duty.
